Taicang – Hub of German Companies
Taicang (太仓) has a population of around 1 million and is located approximately 45 km northwest of downtown Shanghai. Since 1993, more than 550 German companies, primarily small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), have established operations in Taicang. This represents about 10% of all German companies in China and has made Taicang an attractive location for industrial businesses with first-class infrastructure.
Thanks to an excellent training system based on Germany’s dual education model, a well-qualified skilled workforce is available here.
Key contributors to this success include the Taicang High-Tech Zone (TIZ) and the Taicang Roundtable (TRT), both of which actively support and promote the settlement of German companies.

UCIC GmbH, in cooperation with the Taicang Innovation Center Rhine-Neckar, provides solid support for start-ups and innovative companies. The aim is to successfully implement innovative ideas on the Chinese market in cooperation with German companies in Taicang.
Richard Zhang is a recognized leader in the German-Chinese business sector. In his role as former Managing Director of Kern-Liebers Taicang and as Chairman of the Taicang Roundtable, he played a key role in shaping the strategic direction of UCIC GmbH. His extensive expertise in market development, technology, and international cooperation enables companies to successfully realize their global potential.
Jürgen Becker is a former school principal with extensive experience in the field of dual education. Since 2011, he has been successfully committed to advancing dual vocational training in Taicang and has since promoted international exchange. Through his passion for education, innovation, and sustainable development, he makes a significant contribution to realizing our mission of implementing future-oriented training and education solutions.
Sebastian Widuch is an expert in innovation and international business with solid experience in business development, finance, and project management. At UCIC GmbH, he is responsible for the further development of the China business, innovation consulting, and startup development. His focus on international trade and innovation processes positions him as a valuable member of our team.

Weinheim, strategically located between the prestigious university cities of Darmstadt, Mannheim, and Heidelberg, offers excellent transport connections. The city is directly connected to the B3 federal highway and the Weinheim motorway junction.
The main train station, a bus station, and OEG and S-Bahn stops are right on your doorstep.
There are around 450 parking spaces available on the premises, which are managed by a license plate recognition system.
Please note that payment is required at the machine when leaving the parking lot.
